Jagityala, May 5, 2025 — In a powerful step toward digital empowerment, Valmiki Avasam Seva Bharathi inaugurated a free computer training center in Jagityala. The event was graced by RSS Karimnagar Vibhag Sanghchalak Dr. Bhimanathini Shankar, who emphasized that India has been a global pioneer in science, technology, medicine, and knowledge since ancient times. Speaking to a gathering of students and community members, he reminded everyone that while intellectual wealth abounds in India, what’s often lacking is leadership to harness and elevate it.

Dr. Shankar highlighted the legacies of India’s ancient scientific minds—Aryabhatta, Bhaskaracharya, Varahamihira, Sushruta, and Kanad—and their invaluable contributions to global knowledge. He also praised modern innovators such as Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Jagadish Chandra Bose, and Nambi Narayanan, noting that India’s intellectual strength continues to shape the global tech and science industries. With 21 CEOs of global tech giants now being Indian, he pointed out the urgent need to nurture talent within our own country instead of watching it flourish abroad.
The newly launched 35-day free computer training program will provide 125 students with essential digital literacy skills. Dr. Shankar stressed that in today’s digital age, being computer literate is as vital as formal education, urging youth to adapt and grow with technological change. He encouraged all participants to make full use of this opportunity, emphasizing that curiosity and observation are key drivers of scientific growth. The training aims to equip underprivileged youth with tools for a brighter, tech-enabled future.

The inauguration was also attended by notable personalities including businessman Kotagiri Aravind, Valmiki Avasam President Jadige Purushottam, Secretary Nandelli Madan Mohan Rao, Committee Member Sampoorna Chari, and Computer Training Incharges Bekkam Mallesham and Bommera Satyanarayana. The initiative stands as another milestone in Seva Bharathi’s mission to empower marginalized communities through education, technology, and cultural values, helping build a self-reliant and skilled India.
