In a heartfelt address during the conclusion of the 10-day Sanskara Sadhana Camp at Valmiki Avasam, RSS Karimnagar Vibhag Sanghchalak Dr. Bhimanathini Shankar emphasized the importance of instilling a spirit of service in every individual. Held on Sunday at the Valmiki Avasam premises in Jagtial, the camp focused on nurturing cultural values and discipline among young minds through the guidance of Seva Bharathi.
Dr. Shankar proudly shared that Seva Bharathi, the largest grassroots service network in India, currently runs over 1.5 lakh initiatives nationwide. Among them, Valmiki Avasam stands as a beacon of hope, offering free education and care to rural and underprivileged children and shaping them into responsible, patriotic citizens.
Highlighting recent milestones, he mentioned the successful launch of a free tailoring training center, which empowered 160 women with employable skills, and the Abhyasika free tuition centers, aimed at uplifting children from slum communities. The camp itself welcomed 80 students from six local centers, who were trained in yoga, karate, dance, games, and patriotic arts—promoting holistic development.
Dr. Shankar urged society to come together to support those who are economically and educationally disadvantaged. He called upon all citizens to actively participate in Seva Bharathi’s noble mission to eliminate inequality and promote unity. The event ended on a high note with vibrant cultural performances, in the presence of key leaders and volunteers of Valmiki Avasam, leaving everyone inspired by the spirit of seva (service).
