About US
Valmiki Avasam, founded on 9th August 1992 in Jagtial town, is a compassionate initiative of “Seva Bharati,” the service wing of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). With the mission of uplifting underprivileged children, we provide free accommodation, food, education, and medical support to orphans, children with single parents, and those from financially weaker backgrounds.
Our primary objective is to foster holistic development by instilling discipline, moral values, and patriotism, ensuring that every student becomes a responsible and self-reliant citizen. Travel Timeline
"Every Milestone Tells a Story—Every Donor Becomes a Part of It."
A Mission Begins
Valmiki Avasam was launched on 9th August 1992 by Seva Bharati with just 8 students. The goal was clear: offer free education, shelter, and cultural values to children from rural and underprivileged backgrounds, and help shape them into disciplined, patriotic citizens.
Growth in Dharur Camp
To support more students, 4 quarters in Dharur Camp (Jagtial) were rented, expanding capacity to 45 students. The Avasam earned wide recognition, drawing visits from respected IAS, IPS officers, and leaders from various fields who praised its impact on student development and social upliftment.
Celebrating 25 Years
In 2017, Valmiki Avasam marked its Silver Jubilee. Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya attended as chief guest, acknowledging 25 years of dedicated service in empowering children through education and values.
New Home, New Hope
Facing space challenges, a decision was made to build a new hostel. The foundation was laid in Nov 2021 at Geeta Vidyalayam. Thanks to donor support, a fully equipped, permanent residence was completed and inaugurated on 25 August 2025, ushering in a new era of care and learning.
When you support Valmiki Avasam, you’re not just donating—you’re shaping futures, building dreams, and becoming part of lasting change.
